WelcomeDine, Drink, and Relax (Pleasantly)B2 brings its rustic yet sophisticated vibe to the always hopping Point Pleasant Beach downtown area. Three brick fireplaces, reclaimed wood, industrial accents, and an open kitchen make your visit as pleasing to the eye as the palate. Our restaurant spans two floors each with its own bar and outdoor dining space. Our guests can soak up the vibrant bustle of Arnold Avenue while dining and sipping cocktails either street-side or on our upstairs deck. Based on the "garden to table" concept, our Executive Chef and his talented team transform the freshest locally-sourced ingredients into delectable culinary creations reminiscent of the American and Mediterranean bistro-style of cooking. B2 Point Pleasant's culinary focal point is our wood burning oven where many of our dishes are prepared (in particular, our specialty pizzas). Cocktails anyone? You’ve come to the right place! Take a seat at our stylish bar and sample from our eclectic and well-priced wine list, a continuously rotating selection of the best 16 draft beers you'll find anywhere, and a raft of expertly crafted cocktails. Private Events
For an intimate gathering of up to 30 guests, our downstairs private dining room is the perfect choice; close to the action of our open kitchen yet private enough for meetings and small parties. Our second floor event space features private elevator access, two fireplaces, a full-service bar and kitchen, and a banquet area that can accommodate up to 110 guests. This space is distinguished by its veranda complete with a stunning outdoor fireplace, ample seating, and a fabulous bird’s eye view of downtown Point Pleasant Beach. This space is an excellent choice for weddings, large birthday parties, graduations, business meetings and conferences, and all manner of social and celebratory events.
Our catering specialist will help you select the perfect menu, table décor, and required service for your event. Our executive chef and the B2 culinary team will create a customized menu that is sure to make your event memorable. Chef ProfileMichael ButlerExecutive ChefChef Michael Butler began his career at 14 as a dishwasher at a local Jersey shore pizzeria. It was there that he learned about the restaurant industry and realized he had a passion for food.
While at culinary school in New York, Michael landed a job working for famed restaurateur Danny Meyer at The Modern, located in The Museum of Modern Art. Upon graduation, he was invited to do his internship at Craft restaurant working under celebrity Chef Tom Colicchio. After completing his internship at Craft, Michael was offered a full-time position with the restaurant group. Michael's work at Craft led to an offer to join the opening team at Chef Jean-George’s Perry Street restaurant. Following his two-year stint at Perry Street, Michael returned home to the Jersey Shore as Sous Chef at David Burke’s Fromagerie, located in Rumson New Jersey. While working at Fromagerie, Michael was also able to work at a number of David Burke’s NYC locations including David Burke’s Townhouse. After his time with the David Burke group, he accepted a position to join the opening team at Trama’s Trattoria in Long Branch, NJ. There Michael was able to work alongside Chef Pat Trama, as the Chef De Cuisine. Chef Trama was a valued mentor to Michael and they remain close friends to this day. Michael continues his professional endeavors at the Jersey Shore and we are thrilled to welcome him as Executive Chef at B2 Bistro + Bar in Point Pleasant Beach. Michael resides in Point Pleasant, NJ with his fiancé and daughter, Quinn. |
