Executive Chef, Cesare "Chez" De Chellis, and his talented team transform the freshest locally-sourced ingredients into delectable culinary creations with their own innovative and creative twist. Based on the popular bistro-style cooking in the United States, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, and other Mediterranean countries, B2’s culinary focal point is our wood burning oven where many of our dishes are prepared, in particular, our specialty pizzas. Our oven serves as a key social-gathering point in the restaurant where guests can enjoy the culinary theater created by our chef.
Along with superb dishes, B2 provides an eclectic and well-priced wine list, a continuously rotating selection of 16 craft draught beers, and a raft of exceptionally crafted cocktails. The B2 Bistro + Bar Executive Team
Andrew Rasizer acquired a passion for the food and beverage industry at a very young age. Running around his grandfather’s restaurant “Chicken Galore”, and watching him conduct business, instilled a drive in Andrew to become involved in every aspect of the industry.
Andrew is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America with educational stints in west coast wineries (where he became a certified Sommelier) and Chengdu and Beijing, China. He has worked extensively in both the front and back of the house at various establishments throughout the Jersey Shore.
Andrew brings his formidable restaurant and hospitality skills to his current position as General Manager of B2 Bistro + Bar.
Cesare "Chez" De Chellis
A New Jersey native, Cesare’s passion for food was instilled at a very young age by his Italian father who taught him to appreciate the love and the art of food and how it can bring people together in all manner of socialization, events, and celebrations.
Cesare graduated at the top of his class from the Culinary Institute of America and subsequently worked his way to the top ranks of kitchens along the east coast where he cultivated his skills in a wide variety of cuisines and kitchens.
Working with Executive Chef Don Pintabona (formerly of Tribeca Grill) and Chef Jimmy Canora (formerly of Delmonico’s) at Valentino’s on the Green, Cesare learned the creative, managerial, and technical skills that he brings to B2 Bistro + Bar today as Executive Chef and Partner.
